EXTRACURRICULAR INVOLVEMENT
President - Marketing Management Students' Association
In this role, I provided guidance and leadership to the Human Resources, Operations, Corporate Relations and Marketing teams by leading bi-weekly meetings, facilitating collaboration, boosting team morale, and setting short and long-term goals to help with the execution of events and social media strategy. As a leader, I strived to promote inclusivity, transparency, and creativity in order to create a safe and positive environment for everyone.
Given my previous experience as a First-year Representative, Events Coordinator, Corporate Relations Manager and Executive Assistant, I was able to liaise with all teams to improve overall efficiency.

In 2020, I also took the initiative to organize a creative and engaging virtual fundraiser for our internal team raising over $300 for the Guelph Food Bank.

Social Media Manager - International Student Organization
This role provided me with an opportunity to connect with people from all over the world.

I managed a team of 3 by creating a social media schedule, leading monthly meetings, brainstorming ideas, delegating tasks and providing feedback on all content. As a Marketing student, I took the initiative to independently create an Instagram account for ISO that currently reaches over 700 followers, to provide social and transitional support, important resources, tips, and inclusive events for international students.

Prior to COVID-19, this role also entailed friendly and confidential discussions on sensitive topics with international students during weekly office hours, to create an accepting environment and support cultural diversity.
Guelph Student Food Bank Volunteer
Prior to COVID-19, I provided customer service by registering new visitors for the Food Bank program and helping them find items in a supportive, non-judgmental, and confidential manner.

By taking the initiative to display ingredients on certain food items that were frequently unidentified by visitors, I was also able to minimize confusion and improve customer service.
